His work is part of the collection at the Raymond James Museum, and his painting "Profiles of the Past" was used as the cover art for the Raymond James, Paris Branch, Christmas card (2002). 

His work was shown at the New York Art Expo, 2004.

One of Mr. Zar’s painting hangs in the Office of the Governor, State Capital Building, Sacramento, California (2004). 

In 2005 he took part in two benefit shows: PAWS (Dallas S.P.C.A.), and The Children’s Youth Foundation.

In 2006 Mr. Zar participated in The Boys and Girls Club of America benefit auction.
